To be sure that your roof is clean (especially from chalking) and ready for coating, use tape. Apply a strip of masking tape to your roof, then remove it and examine the tape. If it has chips, dirt, or other matter on it, your roof needs more cleaning. Clean it again according to directions.It's a good idea to check the weather for your area before beginning your roofing project. Rain can damage your Kool Seal roof if it has not had time to dry.
